Blog-Freeeeeeeee

Hello!(: As you might've noticed, I've kinda slacked on blogging lately. I've realized that having a certain blog for every single day just takes the fun out of blogging, so I've decided to throw that idea out. Now I'm going to blog what I want to blog, when I want to. Which brings up to today's blog, which is a CD review.
Greyson Chance's very first CD came out on August 2nd, (a month ago) and I know that some people have been wanting to know my opinion on the CD, being a really big fan of his and such. I've been listening to his CD on repeat the entire day, and I do have some thoughts on the songs.

Unfriend You: I give it an 8/10. It'd probably be a nine, but I've over-listened to the song and it gets stuck in my head like crazy now. I like the music video (especially when they TP her house in the end).

Waiting Outside the Lines: Since this is one of his earlier songs, he sounds younger, so it gets a 6.8/10. I like the idea of the song, and the piano playing in it is really good.

Summertrain: DEFINITELY a 10/10. This is my favorite song on the album, and one of my favorite songs in general. The beat is good, the lyrics are good, the vocals are good, EVERYTHING. is good. I love the interlude when you can hear it start raining, and the third chorus is amazing.

Heart Like Stone: This is one of his songs where you REALLY have to be a fan of his, or else the song sucks. I personally love the song (9/10) and think he really outdid himself with the vocals. I myself play piano and would really love to learn to play along with it.

Hold on 'Til the Night: I give it an 8/10. There's not much to say about the song really. It's a good song, and for some reason it makes me think of the 90's. Weird, no?

Home is in Your Eyes: Ehh, it's an okay song. Nothing really stands out about it, so it's a 7/10.

Cheyenne: To be honest, I really love this song and I hate that it's so short. The piano in the interlude just proves his musical talents even more. The only bad thing about it is that at the very end he sounds a bit whiny, like he's begging or something. 9/10

Take a Look at me Now: Good song, especially to work out to(: I give it an 8.5/10. The lyrics kinda explain his claim to fame, and it's really inspirational. The bad thing about the song is that for some reason, it's way louder than the other songs, so be sure to turn your volume down before it comes on or it'll blast your eardrums and scare the crap outta you, believe me.

Stranded: Truthfully, this isn't one of my favorite songs of his. It gets a 7/10 because.. I guess I'm just not really a fan of the song and lyrics.

Little London Girl: This is the worst song he's ever done. 5/10. I think it makes him sound really young. I've owned the CD for a month and haven't even finished listening to it all the way through. I feel like I'm wasting my time listening to this song.

All in all, it's a really good CD, and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Friday's Fads: Greyson Chance Edition

Okay, so I absolutely LOVE Greyson Chance, so he's today's fad!
He was born on August 16th, 1997 in Wichita Falls, Texas. When he was in 6th Grade, he covered Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" at his school talent show (which is one of my favorite songs, by the way), which is when people started to realize that he had talent.

Before he knew it, Ellen Degeneres had noticed him and signed him on her self-owned record company, eleveneleven. His fame skyrocketed, gaining tons and tons of fans via YouTube.
I wanted to feature him on today's post because his debut CD "Hold On 'Till The Night" came out on August 2nd (I got it at Best Buy on debut day- They only had 4 copies!!!) Here's the cover art-
I really like all the songs, and think that he has a great voice for someone so young- though, I have no room to talk, he's older than me by a little bit(:
He's got a lot of talent and he's really cute, so I think that his fame is going to grow even more!(:
