The Great Dippin' Dots Disaster

Hellohello(: Today I tried something new- making Dippin' Dots. I got a Dippin' Dots maker last Christmas, and just now tried it.

I opened it and it was a MESS. All the pieces were falling apart, and the place where you put the Dippin' Dot mix kept leaking EVERYWHERE. On the box it says that you can use it with different flavored mixes, which has you automatically assuming that you get the chocolate and vanilla mixes in the box.
You don't.
Instead, you have to mix 8oz. of water with a tiny bit of your favorite soda and pour it into the mold (which is extremely hard, by the way) then freeze it for 2-3 hours. I tried that with Dr. Pepper, then got it in the mold before the whole machine fell apart. Right now, the mold is in the freezer, and I can predict that the Dippin' Dots are going to taste like watery soda. Here is the end result of the machine-
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! *cough cough*

Blog-Freeeeeeeee

Hello!(: As you might've noticed, I've kinda slacked on blogging lately. I've realized that having a certain blog for every single day just takes the fun out of blogging, so I've decided to throw that idea out. Now I'm going to blog what I want to blog, when I want to. Which brings up to today's blog, which is a CD review.
Greyson Chance's very first CD came out on August 2nd, (a month ago) and I know that some people have been wanting to know my opinion on the CD, being a really big fan of his and such. I've been listening to his CD on repeat the entire day, and I do have some thoughts on the songs.

Unfriend You: I give it an 8/10. It'd probably be a nine, but I've over-listened to the song and it gets stuck in my head like crazy now. I like the music video (especially when they TP her house in the end).

Waiting Outside the Lines: Since this is one of his earlier songs, he sounds younger, so it gets a 6.8/10. I like the idea of the song, and the piano playing in it is really good.

Summertrain: DEFINITELY a 10/10. This is my favorite song on the album, and one of my favorite songs in general. The beat is good, the lyrics are good, the vocals are good, EVERYTHING. is good. I love the interlude when you can hear it start raining, and the third chorus is amazing.

Heart Like Stone: This is one of his songs where you REALLY have to be a fan of his, or else the song sucks. I personally love the song (9/10) and think he really outdid himself with the vocals. I myself play piano and would really love to learn to play along with it.

Hold on 'Til the Night: I give it an 8/10. There's not much to say about the song really. It's a good song, and for some reason it makes me think of the 90's. Weird, no?

Home is in Your Eyes: Ehh, it's an okay song. Nothing really stands out about it, so it's a 7/10.

Cheyenne: To be honest, I really love this song and I hate that it's so short. The piano in the interlude just proves his musical talents even more. The only bad thing about it is that at the very end he sounds a bit whiny, like he's begging or something. 9/10

Take a Look at me Now: Good song, especially to work out to(: I give it an 8.5/10. The lyrics kinda explain his claim to fame, and it's really inspirational. The bad thing about the song is that for some reason, it's way louder than the other songs, so be sure to turn your volume down before it comes on or it'll blast your eardrums and scare the crap outta you, believe me.

Stranded: Truthfully, this isn't one of my favorite songs of his. It gets a 7/10 because.. I guess I'm just not really a fan of the song and lyrics.

Little London Girl: This is the worst song he's ever done. 5/10. I think it makes him sound really young. I've owned the CD for a month and haven't even finished listening to it all the way through. I feel like I'm wasting my time listening to this song.

All in all, it's a really good CD, and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend it.

Movie Monday :D

*gameshow host voice* Welcome to Moooooooooovie Mooooooonday! In today's game, we'll find out what the surprise movie is, if it's good or not, and it's rating! *end gameshow host voice* Haha(:

Today's movie is....
Yes, yes, I know. Super Ultra Mega Cheesy Disney movie. But I swear, this one is actually really good! It'll dumb the description down a lot, mostly because I really don't know how to describe the movie.

Charlie (shorter one, in the back) skips a bunch of grades and is in highschool by 14.
Charlie gets publicly embarrassed with other guy (Virgil, in the very front).
Charlie and Virgil become friends.
Charlie  invents time traveling machine with help of other guy (Zeke, dark hair)
They all become friends and go back in time as the Minutemen and help nerds in highschool not get publicly embarrassed by jerks.

That just about sums the movie up. It's surprisingly really good. I give it an 8.5/10. The three stars are Jason Dolley (Virgil), Nicholaus Braun (Zeke) and Charlie (Luke Benward).
Call me a hater, but I've never really been a Jason Dolley fan. He just always annoyed me on "Cory in the House" (absolutely HATE that show, by the way).
Here's them in the time-traveling outfits. They're actually skiing outfits, so at first when everyone sees them they call them the Snowsuit Guys.

ANYWAYS, I highly recommend this movie (I say that a lot, don't I?). It's funny and very interesting.

PS- Does anyone else think that they all look the exact same in the last two pictures?

Sunday Weekly News

Hello blog-readers! I have an important announcement to make concerning The Sunday Weekly! Until I can find my camera and actually start taking photos, I've decided to cancel the it. I usually don't even remember what happened the last Monday and Tuesday, so when Sunday rolls around I have nothing to write. I promise that when I find my camera and start writing each day up as they happen, I'll start writing more Sunday Weekly's, but for now, they're cancelled.

Friday's [Late] Fads: Zeke and Luther Edition

Hellohellohello! This Friday Fad is based on a Disney XD show, Zeke and Luther!
This is probably my favorite show right now. I think it's really funny, and it's one of the only Disney shows not for little kids. The characters are all like, 15 and 16 and can drive and stuff. Some people say that the show isn't funny and Luther's too immature, but I love this show! It's based on Zeke (I don't know his last name) and Luther Waffles, two skaters from Gilroy. The entire show is about them in crazy situations, trying to become pro skaters.
I highly recommend watching this show. I think it's really funny!

Catchin' UPPPP

Lately, I've been ignoring my blog. (THAT was blunt.)

So, I have indeed decided to do a catch-up post, coming tomorrow. I will warn you in advance, it's going to be a HUUUUUUUUUUGE post, including a movie review, a video game review, a random post, a friday fad, AND a sunday weekly.

...As you can tell, it's going to be a monster of a post.  To be short, it'll be out at 9am tomorrow.

The Weekly Sunday

Hello-hello fellow bloggers! Today's post is the debut of The Weekly Sunday! This post is going to be about anything important that's happened the last week.
Now, because this is my first post on this subject, I haven't taken any pictures to upload, and unfortunately, I don't exactly remember most of the week, so I'm going to just do the past few days.

Monday, August 1st
-------------------------------
I finally started homeschooling! I did one algebra class and three English classes. Since then, I've done quite a bit more (including three Science, three History, three Bible, two Algebra, and one English). In reality though, homeschool is actually not as  bad as I thought it would be! MOST of the teachers aren't that bad, and the homework is okay. The only bad homework is in Bible class, where I have to memorize verses by a certain date (I have oral tests on them). After I take the first test, I get more verses, and so on. Here are the verses I have to learn after the first test:
"Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life. I am that bread of life. Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness and are dead. This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die. I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the lift of the world."

I have to memorize THAT by lesson 10.

Wednesday, August 3rd
--------------------------------
I got my Tetanus shot at the local high school, where, unfortunately, mostly everyone I hated from school was there. I'm not normally afraid of shots, but I'll admit, this one HURT. When I first got it, I had thought that the nurse had accidentally poked me with the needle. Then my arm started stinging horribly. Ever since then, the spot around where I got it is bruised and whenever I move my arm it hurts. ICK.

Friday, August 5th
--------------------------------
(Nothing remotely interesting happened on Thursday, so I skipped it.)
Mom and Mandy left for Vegas (tears), leaving the house for me and Dad the entire week (cheers!). But around 4, Dad came out and told me that he had food poisoning and was going to be sick (he had deli chicken from the nearby Price Cutter- yikes!). Poor him got sick the rest of the day and all night, leaving his bathroom for only 10-20 minutes at a time. This is his third time getting food poisoning, unfortunately, and me having a fear of barf didn't help. That and Mom wasn't here, so I had absolutely no idea what to do.

Saturday, August 6th
------------------------------
Dad was sleeping all day on account of staying up all night, so I basically had to take care of the house. He was feeling better and actually ate a slice of pizza for dinner, which is a good sign. That and he didn't get sick. My ear was freaking out on me all day so I couldn't hear out of it, which meant no homeschool for me. Boring, no?

Well, this was the past few days of my excruciatingly interesting life.  (sarcasm intended.)

Friday's Fads: Greyson Chance Edition

Okay, so I absolutely LOVE Greyson Chance, so he's today's fad!
He was born on August 16th, 1997 in Wichita Falls, Texas. When he was in 6th Grade, he covered Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi" at his school talent show (which is one of my favorite songs, by the way), which is when people started to realize that he had talent.

Before he knew it, Ellen Degeneres had noticed him and signed him on her self-owned record company, eleveneleven. His fame skyrocketed, gaining tons and tons of fans via YouTube.
I wanted to feature him on today's post because his debut CD "Hold On 'Till The Night" came out on August 2nd (I got it at Best Buy on debut day- They only had 4 copies!!!) Here's the cover art-
I really like all the songs, and think that he has a great voice for someone so young- though, I have no room to talk, he's older than me by a little bit(:
He's got a lot of talent and he's really cute, so I think that his fame is going to grow even more!(:

What to blog, what to blog...

Hi guys!(: Sorry I haven't been blogging for WEEKS, I've had so much going on in the last few weeks.
Thus said, I've decided that I'm going to have a few days a week where I post a cutesy themed-blogpost (something that's hopefully original and not generic), so here's what I've come up with so far- in no special order(:

Friday Fads- A post about something (or someone) that I like and think is really cool

The Weekly Sunday- My past week in blogpost-style

Gamer's Wednesday- A video game review on a video game I think is fun (or sometimes random, which leads me to my next [and last] special blog day [so far!])

Random Thursday!!!!!!- This weekly post is going to be all about random things that are going to make you laugh/cry/gasp until your sides hurt!!!

Can't Think of A Catchy Title...

SORRY!(: I haven't blogged in what seems like forever. It just feels like to me, blogging isn't really that interesting right now. I don't know what to blog about yet, and I feel like nobody is really reading my posts... Am I paranoid?
Anyways, I think I wanna try doing a review of some sort. I'm still trying to think of a catchy title or something, like...  I don't even know yet. I might do book reviews or video game reviews or movie reviews, I guess it'll be a surprise for you guys.
Okay, idea. Maybe.. Reviewing Thursdays.. nope.
        Manic Review Monday!!!
        Tuesday's Reviews.
.....
Okay now I'm stretching it. I want something catchy and simple. Any ideas?

...

May I just warn you that this is going to be one of the totally awkward blog posts we all write once in a while... though, actually, I really don't know why this post seems awkward to me, maybe it's just because I haven't posted in a week because I just haven't been feeling in a bloggy mood lately... (like my word-usage? bloggy.... heehee)

ANYWAY.

Said blog-post is inspired by Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. This is one of my all-time favorite video games, and I've been meaning to post about it for a while now. I guess I've always been a fan of LoZ since I was little, and watching Mandy play Ocarina of Time was one of my favorite pastimes. Twilight Princess was (and still is) my favorite LoZ game (but Skyward Sword comes out in November, and it might be better... MIGHT.). I love the graphics and how it's a lot darker than the other games.
I also love how he changes back and forth between Wolf/Human Link

I absolutely love the characters and the graphics on them- they look so... awesome!(:

And the bosses are cool too (but fighting this one gave me a mini panic attack... mostly because I ran out of pillars to hide behind at the end so I kept running in circles hoping he wouldn't catch me and having practically no chance to shoot him with arrows)
And, inspired by LoZ, I made a wish list of things I want<3

1. Sword and shield attachments for Skyward Sword
2. A Hylian shield attachment for Wii
3. This game system.. I actually don't know what game system it is, it just looks AWESOME.
4. This game system too... same as above, I don't know what it is but it looks awesome
5. These shoes I saw on Etsy.com one day

Well, that's all for today, folks. And this concludes a very awkward blogpost.

{By the way, I hit 1,000 views on Thursday. THANKS!}

Mini Blog Post

Hello peeps(: I wanted to do a mini blog post real quick about a mistake I made earlier. On one of my earlier posts I made a "Goals for July" list, and one of the goals is to reach 500 page views by August. Well, I'm already halfway to 1,000, so I've decided to change that to "Reach 1,500 Page Views by August".

...Whoooahhh I stared at the word August too long and now it looks weird...

Summer's in it's second chapter

The day before yesterday, Mandy and I started playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess again, and it finally feels like summer :D Last year we spent every day all day in my room playing video games and drinking Vitamin Water and taking Polaroid pictures, and we're finally getting back to doing that again. We're most likely going to snap a million and one pictures during the course of summer, so I'll post them in August. I also decided that I'm going to post another chapter of the book I'm writing. (This chapter is super super long).

Another Blue Skye
Chapter 2

My eyes widened as we neared the dingy little farmhouse. It was just as she had described. A two story white house with green shutters, a wraparound veranda with a porch swing and lawn chairs surrounded by mosquito netting, and a bike in place of a car. This called for drastic measures.
"Mom, PLEASE don't make me go here, we can just turn around and go right back home, and won't have to see this horrible place ever again and forget about Aunt Melody and her country music and horrible hickville." I begged.
"No. You do nothing but get in trouble when you're bored, and we're not having the cops bring you home again this summer." she said firmly. Okay, so mayybee the cops had to bring me home ONCE but ONLY because my friend had stolen something from the mall and when we walked out of the store the buzzer went off and she went running, and me, not knowing ANYTHING about her shoplifting, had run after her and the cops called our parents. I didn't know any better. But apparently they didn't care because we pulled right up into the driveway.
I am literally going to die of hick-fever, I thought, sighing. Then Aunt Melody came out. She was young, only 24, and kinda beautiful. She had silvery-translucent hair and big green eyes that stared into you. She always wore long dresses with Dr. Martens, either neon blue or hot pink. She believed in folklore and faeries and never went to the doctor because she had special remedies for everything. She also never ate out or went to the supermarket because she grew all her food, so she had a lot of money.
"Hello!" she said, walking through the veranda and down to the driveway. She was wearing a long, Hawaiian type dress and you couldn't see her feet, so it looked as if she was floating.
"Hi Melody!" Mom said, hugging her sister. Dad said hello while I grabbed three of my bags out of the trunk, not saying anything. "Hi Skye!" Melody greeted nicely while grabbing two bags to help me out. I didn't say anything back, but flounced by her and up the driveway.
"Excuse her, Melody. She's pissed that she can't spend the whole summer GETTING IN TROUBLE WITH THE COPS." Mom yelled the last part in my direction.
"It only happened once, Mom!" I yelled behind my shoulder, slamming into the house.
It was open and bright, with a few famous paintings here and there. No couches, but a sweet purple Wii and a plasma screen TV. Hm. Not bad, I guess. I headed up the staircase and down the hallway to the last room to the right, which Mom said was mine. It. Was. AWESOME. The walls were purple with black polka dots and the bedspread was Justin Bieber and there was a bookcase in one corner and a dresser with a Wii and a big screen TV and a keyboard, etc etc etc. I dropped my bags in the doorway and ran over to the bedspread and picked it up. It was silky smooth and wonderful. Melody trailed in behind me and set the bags she was holding down with my other ones.
"Do you like it? I had to order it off Amazon, and I was worried that it wouldn't come in time, but thank goodness it did…"
"It's…it's…" I almost lost my cover. I can't love the room. I can't. I needed to hate being here. Hate hate hate hate hate.
"Eh. It's okay… I guess it could be better.."
"Oh." she said, kinda disappointed. Perfect, I thought smugly. Dad came up carrying my other three (and last) bags.
"Skye, did you have to bring HALF the house with you???" he asked sarcastically.
"Um, all I packed was my room, Dad." I sighed. Mom came up to my room too.
"Oh, Melody, it looks so pretty in here! Now, Skye, what do you say for Melody's efforts?" Mom asked, totally treating me like a five year old.
"Hmm. Well, it could be better, I suppose, but I guess it'll have to do." I said.
"Do you have to be so hard to please???" Mom said, exasperated.
"It's not my fault I have hard tastes!"
"Okay ladies, let's not fight. Now Skye, we'll be back three days before school starts. Behave, okay?" Dad asked. I shrugged and he hugged me. Mom did too.
"Be safe and listen to Aunt Melody." she added.
"Okay okay okay. I'll see you guys later." I said. They looked at me one last time, then went downstairs and left. I was stuck here with no way out now.
"Well, I'm going to make us some dinner, if you're hungry. What's your favorite food? I'll make it special, as a welcome meal!" Aunt Melody said.
"Oh. Um… Beef stroganoff?" I asked, uncertain that she would actually have meat here.
"Perfect! I just got a new stock of food in, and we have everything for that!" she said.
"What happened to you never shopping?" I asked rudely. She didn't take notice.
"Well, I can't grow meat and noodles in a garden now, can I? And I would never kill the adorable cows in the barn just for meat!" she smiled. I didn't smile back, and she just turned around and walked right out the door.
"O-Kay then…" I said, looking around my new room. Then I grabbed my clothes bag and changed into Victoria's Secret sweatpants, Uggs, a t-shirt, then pulled my hair into a side ponytail with a headband. Then I dug around in another bag until I found my beloved headphones and my MacBook and plugged into iTunes and Facebook. First I got the Cody Simpson playing on iTunes then checked Facebook. 17 notifications. Most of them were notifications that Justin Bieber or Greyson Chance had updated their statuses, but a few were from friends. I clicked on one. My best friend forever Brittany had posted on my wall.
"Hey HOE, call me!<3 <3 <3" I smiled. I would miss Brittany and my boyfriend Mark SO much. But I guess Facebook would have to do for now. Two more notifications from Brittany posting on my wall, two from Mark, and one from some guy named Norman, who I think might be a geek at school. I clicked on his next. Whoa. He commented on my profile picture.
"Hey there, beautiful(; " Oh GREAT. Another nerd trying to hit on me. I quickly clicked into Mark's first notification to calm myself down. It was another picture comment.
"Do you just get more gorgeous every single second? ILY<3 " AWWH!!! Ohmygosh, I love Mark so much!!!! I clicked on the second notification. It was a wall post.
"I miss you already hun, come home pleez :( " I clicked on his name and left him a wall post.
"I would come home if I could): I'm stuck in hickville here. H-E-L-P." I sighed and shut my computer.
I grabbed my toiletries bag and went into the bathroom. Also purple and a Justin Bieber shower curtain. Hm. That'd be awkward when I'm showering. I put the generic toothbrush Aunt Melody had already bought in my bag (I don't think she'll notice if I take it home) and replaced it with my Justin Bieber singing toothbrush. Better. Then I removed the toilet seat (after breaking my nail on the screwdriver) and replaced the bottom part with a porcelain toilet seat and replaced the top part with an extremely fuzzy purple cover. That looked welcoming for after dinner, when I'd probably have to barf up Aunt Melody's most-likely disgusting stroganoff. Then I grabbed my iPhone 4 out of my bag and dialed Brittany's number.
"SKYE! YOU'RE FREAKIN' ALIVE!" she screamed.
"I know. I'm surprised too." I said.
"What's up? You sound… bland." she said.
"Oh, besides the fact that hickville here and my hippie aunt are sucking the life out of me, I'm totally fine." I replied tiredly.
"Oh my Bieber, HIPPIES?! I'm so sorry, Skye! Do I need to send Mark out there to rescue you?" she asked. I cracked a grin.
"No, I think I'll live. I think. But, what're you doing? I hear loudness." I asked.
"Oh, I'm at this CRAYY-ZEE summer party Rachel Houser is holding. It's so wild. Oh, and Mark's here too. You guys wanna talk?" she asked. Now that I listened more carefully, I could hear the first few bars of Rihanna's newest song and screaming from her end. Ugh. I was missing out on the first summer party of the year. Perfect.
"Yeah, put him on." I sighed.
There was a scratching noise, then his beautiful voice. "Hi Skye." he said, and I could tell he was smiling.
"MARK!!! HELP!" I cried.
"I'm sorry I can't be out there with you." he said.
"It's okay… NOT. I miss you guys. And I'm missing a party. THIS ISN'T FAIR." I ranted.
"Oh Skye, I miss you. You're so adorable. But don't worry. The night you get home, we will throw a party so freakin' AWESOME that it'll blow Rachel Houser's party out of the water. Just wait, Skye. And it'll all be in your honor too. We'll play all your favorite music and have a chocolate fountain and purple lights and nothing but Justin Bieber and Dr. Pepper." he said.
"Mark, you don't know how good that sounds right now. I'm stuck in this room and it's purple- which I don't have anything against, it's just that… There's a barn next to the house. A BARN." I said.
"Don't worry. I'm sure you'll live. I love you, and I'll see you in a few months, okay?" he asked.
"Okay…" I said. We hung up and I listened to "Telephone" by Lady Gaga and right when it ended, Aunt Melody knocked.
"Come in…" I called, taking off my headphones. She opened the door.
"Dinner is ready, Skye!" she said, smiling. I left my phone on the bed and followed her out to the veranda, where she had set up dinner on the table. There was a big plate of steaming hot beef stroganoff (which looked delicious, by the way), another huge plate of salad covered in Thousand Island dressing, and a big pitcher of something dark. She pulled my chair out for me before sitting down.
"What's in the pitcher..?" I asked, uncertain whether I wanted to hear the answer or not.
"Dr. Pepper!" she chirped brightly, scooping herself some stroganoff. I did the same and tasted it. It was actually really delicious!
"Do you like it? I haven't made it in a while, and wasn't sure."
"It's.. It's actually really good!" I said. She looked so happy at my compliment. Alright, that's it. I'm not lying here anymore. If I like something, I'll say I like it. If I don't then I'll say I don't, I thought to myself. I got salad and a large glass of Dr. Pepper (somehow she must've known it was my favorite. I guessed Mom told her all my favorites, hence all the Justin Bieber stuff. Well, I was okay with that) and tasted it. It was ice cold and great. The entire meal was great. And when we were done, I made sure to tell her that.
"Aunt Melody, dinner was super delicious. Thanks for making it!"
"It was absolutely no problem, Skye! Wait right here, I have a surprise for you!" she beamed. She went to her room and came out with a little box.
"I realize that living here is a big change from your house in New York, and I wanted to make it as easy as I could for you. So I went out and bought someone for you!" she said. Wait, someone? She set the box carefully down on the table and opened it. The absolute CUTEST Pomeranian puppy I have EVER seen come trotting out. He was white and looked exactly like a little snowball (if you've never seen one, then Google it). He had clear blue eyes, a black nose, and a little pink tongue. He ran to me and immediately was set out on a mission to lick my fingers as much as he could. I picked him up and he licked my face. He was so presh! I named him Snowball.
"Do you like him?" Aunt Melody asked.
"HE'S SO ADORABLE!!!! Thank you SO much, Aunt Melody!!!!" I exclaimed.
"Please, call me Melody. Let's be on casual terms, okay?" she asked. I nodded and grinned at her. Living here was finally starting to look up for once.

We take a lot of pictures together, obviously(:

She's the best sister in the world and I wouldn't trade her for anything<3

New Blog Design :D

I got a new blog design (obviously haha) and I LOVE it! Total kudos to Amy Martin for designing my wonderful blog. Absolutely LOVE it!
Anywayysss,  this summer is going by way too fast, and it feels like school is already here. Well, it actually is for me because I'm homeschooling this year and I'm SUPER nervous about it. I guess I'm curious to try it, but I'm really going to miss the social aspect of school. Being able to talk to your friends, pass notes, leave stuff in other people's locker, seeing people you know in detention, going out to P.E, decorating your locker, etc. I'm seriously going to miss all this stuff that made school fun. I know at first I'm going to totally resent homeschooling at first, but I'll get used to it.

Possibly.

Lazy Day(:

Today just feels like such a weird day! Mandy woke me up by standing over my bed and going,"Greg... Greeeeggg... GREG!" Sort of an inside joke for us, but it makes sense if you've seen the first Diary of A Wimpy Kid movie. We got up and watched the second one, and since then, I guess it feels like a lazy day. Today I plan on listening to super loud rock music (Children 18:3, if you're wondering) and maybe getting Andy's Frozen Custard later. YUM!(: Maybe later I'll blow up some water balloons and throw them at Mandy's window... hehehehehehehehe(:

Summer 2011

This summer is going by so fast already! It's almost a third through, and it feels like I just got out of school yesterday. I've been hanging out with my wonderful sister Mandy (as we always do during summer), playing video games and watching movies and popping popcorn. Right now, I'm in the middle of playing Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (yes, I am indeed a Zelda nerd), but soon I'm going to start playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for the second time (I played and got THIS close to finishing it last summer). It's one of my favorite LoZ games.

Mandy and I also watch a whole lot of movies, so much that we'll get addicted to a select few. Last time, we got addicted to Step Up 3D (Moose is my favorite).

Now we're absolutely addicted to Diary of A Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules.
If you haven't seen it, I HIGHLY recommend  watching it. It's just such a good movie! It's hilarious and we end up laughing until we're crying every time. I've been a huge fan of the book series ever since 2007 when the first one came out and I read it on Funbrain.com. Then I faithfully bought every book when it came out, and was completely ecstatic when they announced that they were going to make a movie. Since Saturday, I've watched it at least 11 times (no exaggerations here) and I must say that it is one of my favorite movies of all time. And I have to add that Rodrick is freakin' cute. *blush* (;
