Reading the Days Away...

Hellohello, friends! Today I'm writing about one of my favorite things- books!
  I've loved books ever since I can remember. When I was younger, I would read almost anything. Now I'm a little bit pickier (especially about dog-eared pages, UGH!), but I still LOVE to read. Here are a few of my favorite books at the moment-

(Please ignore the blankets and stuff in the back, I took these on my bed(: PS- Yes, that is a blue Domo blanket, thank you!
The books I've been reading lately are The Clique series, the Slayer Chronicles, the Monster High series, Spoiled, and Jane Austen.

Right now I'm trying to buy all the Clique books on Amazon and Barnes & Noble because there's like, FIFTY MILLION of them. I really love the series, even though it's kinda hard to believe that they're seventh graders, because when I was in seventh grade, I knew no school that was like this. Now, I know that Lisi Harrison probably dramatized a lot, but that's actually a reason why I like the books, because there's lot of drama.
Ah. The Slayer Chronicles. I have yet to delve into this book, but I have a feeling it's going to be great. I'm a huge fan of the Vladimir Tod series, I have all the books and am saving up for the Vlad Tod jacket. I love it when authors write a spinoff of a great series.
I just started reading this series about two weeks ago, and finished each book the day I got it. I love these books! They're by the same author as the Clique, but I actually like these ones more. I love that each book ends in the middle of something, so you're in a crazy rush to buy the next one (by the way, anyone know when she's releasing the fourth one?) I hope that she writes a book in the point of view for every character!
I don't know if there are any sequels or anything to this book, but I really hope so! It was a really good book. Some parts had me laughing out loud, and some parts had me cringing. The characters are really interesting and the storyline is common, but good.
I bought this book at Barnes & Noble two years ago, and still haven't read it. I tried reading the first book, but I actually couldn't really understand most of the words. Hopefully, I've improved my vocab since then and will be able to read a few of these books. Everyone's always freaking out about them.

   So, I hope you enjoyed my book post xD I've finally finished writing one of my own and am in the process of trying to get it published for the Kindle and Nook. Long, long process. A lot of publishers don't publish books that were written by "kids" (Um helloooo? I'm technically a teenager...) But I'm glad to at least've been able to finish one. Usually with me, I'll get into something (like a video game or a book) and write about the subject of it, then stop liking the same game or book and quit writing... The most frustrating thing in my opinion is taking a really looooong time to write a book, then they categorize it under "short story". "I worked my butt off writing that book. I'm behind on my homeschool and have gotten no gaming time in lately". But I'm pretty sure they don't care. {Random venting time}
   ANYWAYS, I've already started a few new books and am way excited to MAYBE post some sneak peeks on tha blawg. So stay tuned for some awesome blogs and comment if you've read any of the books above! (No spoilers please!)

Loooooove you!!!(:
